Old Quirky names for dogs?
I love funny kind of old fashioned names for my pets, I have a pug but something like Mable, Augie and Gerty for girls and Humphrey, Samson and Barnaby for boys. I kind of like Gilbert too. I'm just looking for a good list to choose from. They don't even have to be old, just quirky.

so i wasn't paying attention to my dog and she started to chew on a sent away bottle i caught her and im worried she consumed some. i yelled at her and she went and laid in her crate which she never does

Why do we feed dogs kibble when they are supposed to eat real meat?
I've always wondered why we feed our dogs kibble with vegetables, it looks all dried up and gross. Aren't dogs supposed to eat like REAL cooked meat instead of the dried up crap we buy at the store? Is it okay to get a puppy and feed it actual meat like beef and pork?

My neighbor gave us their dog because they were moving out of states. I just found out their dog hasn't gotten any of its shots. I was wondering if they still can get them even at her age 8years ??
My dog is faking being sick?
Alright, here's the story. My dog has been sick the last couple of days. She acts slow, not interested in the things she normally does, walks, playing, etc. She's obviously faking it. She threw up some red watery stuff, which was obviously was ketchup. Then there was some stuff like under cooked wriggling spaghetti. She must have gotten into both of those somehow. Any thoughts on teaching her a lesson through discipline and knowing that that is very naughty?
My dog wants to go some where.?
Yah I know it's a stupid question but I'm asking to see what other people have to say. I went into our garage to get my skis ready because I'm going skiing tomorow. My dog followed me into the garage and thought we were gonna go some where so he stood by the car door waiting for me to open it. I asked him where he wanted to go. He's a dog so of course I'm gonna ask him where he wants go. I live in Wisconsin. Where do you think I should take him?
Can a dog really get pregnant 5 times?
my cousin was telling me about a dog in her town in the Caribbeans that is known for always getting pregnant by random dogs in the street like twice a year. I think that's horrible I thought dogs could potentially get sick and die if this happens to them so much, which is why its important for them to get neutered.wowthanks kelster for proving my theory to my friend about how there will always be an as hole on YA that will have to reply to answer in a sarcastic way or use their source as " common sense" Wow thanks.
Is a border collie a good family dog?
ok, so i always research before i look into a breed. and i've wanted a border collie since i was 5. now i'm 13. we have 2 dogs at my dad's but they are family dogs. my dad said if i wanted to i could, but i would be responsible for it. he's saying yes because he knows i am responsible and mature. my stepmom doesn't like big dogs. allie is 14 pounds schnoodle and misa is 6 pounds pomeranian chihuahua . they love to play with big dogs there are a lot of golden retrievers in our neighbourhood as well. i know both of them are the top 2 dogs, but goldens i find are very expensive due to their popularity and being known as the top family dog. i know the border collie is very active and needs to run and have challenges.so here's how i find the border collie is great for me i'm very very active, can't sit still and love to run. i need challenges as well and i think it will challenge me as well my own dog they are my favourite dogs, and i research them. i know their behaviour and needs allie and misa will enjoy a friend bigger than them smaller dogs than them scare them how a border collie won't be good for me i go to school for 6 hours a day 5 days a week my mom and stepdad are moving and my twin sister and i live with them and visit my dad 2 days a week for 4 hours then every other weekend from friday sunday night or monday morning.anyways, they are looking at a couple houses. and they have a couple acres, and this one house is i think my mom said 500 square feet or something? i don't know but it's about 5 times the size of our house, which is 1100 square i don't know if it's feet or whatever, not sure . anyways, so it'll be very big so room is fine.only one problem with that though...my stepdad is allergic to animals. he grew up with dogs and horses though.but i figure it would sleep in my room and i would obviously brush it every day. that would help the shedding, and we are all neat freaks basically so we vacuum a lot which won't be any difference anyways.so cleaning, avtivity, and caring are no problem. as well as room and training. i am thinking on putting the dog in agility or frizbee or flyball. i don't know yet. so do you guys think this is the dog for me?feel free to put suggestions and ideas.name ideas and genders too please ?i think i may want a male, because females get their periods and no diapers are big enough for medium sized dogs the dog will live at my dad's with us until my mom moves. if she doesn't let me keep it at the house i will either keep it outside, keep it at my dad's, or move in with my dad.wherever it lives isn't a problem. thanks jamie sorry for this being sooooooooooooooooooooo long

Tick removed on dog.?
I found a partially engorged tick on my dog. Not sure if it was deer or dog tick, but I think it was dog tick. I tried to remove it with tweasers, but I think the head is still In him. I can't tell for sure though. How bad is this?
