My pair of dogs went loose ........ have found the male but the female is no where to be found!?
still waiting for my female to come back.......how many of u think that she might return?......is she stolen or what?.......how long will she take to come back on her own? it has been a week that i've lost her ....... found the male straying around 2km away from home and he was alone, she was not with him.........what could have possibly gone wrong? found the male after 11 hours they left the house..... why didn't they come back on their own earlier? ppl around ma neighbourhood call me THE BEST PET KEEPER..........i loved them so much.........why did they run away once they found an opening?

To all, thank you for responding. There was one response, in particular, that I would like to comment on. To the person criticizing me for having a six week old puppy I picked him up from a couple that, in my opinion, had never bred dogs before. None of the puppies were wormed, given shots, or checked by a vet. He was 4 weeks old when they tried to get me to buy him. I asked them to wait another week so he could nurse from his mother just a little longer.. In good conscience, I couldn't leave him any longer. If you could see how drastically he has grown since I have had him, you would have agreed I got him sooner. You could see every rib, his hip bones, and his hair was starting to fall out from the fleas. Since then, he has been to a vet, been wormed, given his required shots, frontline, food and lots of love. Do not judge me for taking him out of the hell he was in. I only asked for an opinion as to who can correct him. We love him very much, and as far as it's concerned, he has improved 100 % since he has become a part of our family.
People who really know about dog foods and bladder stones?
With a recent problem with dog food, it poisoned one dog making her really sick and lightly sickened another it made me start considering all dog foods. The third dog is a pomeranian and doesn't eat the same food the other dogs eat, so she didn't get sick, thank goodness. She, the pom, is a rescue and her previous owners didn't pay enough attention to her and missed the fact that her bladder was completely filled with bladder stones so the vets put her on royal canin s o for urinary problems. Wondering if there is a healthier and better food for her? I'm unable to stand for more than a few minutes at a time so it's hard enough trying to cook for myself and there are days i cannot even do that. So cooking would be really hard, but i'm still considering it. But if there is a great dog food out there that would work better than this it would make my life better. Hope someone can help. Thanks Our pom has access to water all during the day, when we go to sleep water gets picked up or the boxer pees everywhere. They get to go out every 3 hours max, our boxer male has to go out often. Boxers are on Taste of the Wild, bison forumula, and wondering if pom might do ok on it and not get anymore stones. As for past owners, they were a huge problem in this dogs life. NO shots, No care, Teeth were in horrible condition, Major heart issues they didn't even know if and if you held her you would instantly feel something was wrong with her. Feels like a zipper
My male dog poops and pees everywhere even in beds. HELP?
I have a 9 month old Maltese puddle mix named Chewie he was my sisters dog but was very inpatient with him so knowing how i love dogs she gave him to me. He's been potty trained for a while and he helped potty train my Chihuahua. we don't have a back yard so he is trained to go on training pads. Well ever since he started to lift his leg to pee, he pees on everything specially if it's new, my guess is that he is marking his territory. But that is driving everyone crazy not to mention his pooping habits, i mean he walks while he's still pooping hence leaving a trail of poop behind him. Once we found the whole living room full of his poop. I love Chewie & i don't wan to get rid of him but I'm out voted and unless i do something we r going to have to give him away. But i know that because of his flaws it's going to be Very hard to find him a home & he might have to be put down, i don't even want to think about that. He also chews a lot and barks but peeing and pooping the way he does overshadows everything else. Please help he is such a great special dog & very smart i want my siblings to see that. But what can i do? He also LOVES my Chihuahua Mia and he gets separation anxiety when she is not with him so my guess is that w out her alone he could die. He gets so depress n does not eat. HELP P.S. He is not fixed yet.

Having a hard time saying bye to my dog?
i just recently yesterday found out that my dog of 9 years has a tumor. We were going to operate, but some other complications came up, and even if we did the surgery shed only have 3 4 months on average. so i decided not to do it, so we have her on some meds to make her more comfortable, and the vet said she wasn't in pain. but he said on average she would have 1 week to 2months without the surgery. and im having a really hard time with it. I have had Jazz since she was a puppy i saved up for her when i was 12. She was my " first" dog. and she has been there with me for some really rough times. She's really lethargic and its just killing me to see her like this. Like she is still really alert and stuff but she just lays around, its really sad.She is honestly the best dog and my heart is breaking and she hasn't even passed yet. but at this rate i dont kno how i would deal with that. any body have any advice on how to deal??Im really just venting here but any advice would be awesomethanks
Is reintroducing two dogs with previous history a good idea?
I have two dogs in my home. One is a blue red nose pitbull 2yrs old and the other is a chow lab mix 5yrs old. These two dogs fought once or twice when my pitbull was about to be one year old. we cannot walk the two together, or have them play together. not because they continue fighting but because my family and i are not sure what will happen if we did. They have been separated ever since. Is reintroducing the two and having them together even possible? i wish it were. IMPORTANT We had a Rottweiler who was about 7 years old when i received my then 3weeks old pitbull. The Rottweiler and ChowChow have always gotten along. The problems began after he was put to sleep.
Why does my dog meow?
Whenever I scratch behind his ear he meows. It's like i'll scratch behind his ear and all of a sudden I'll hear a " mrow mrow" noise. This goes on for 5 minutes.
My dog is having diarrhea and is sleepy/lethargic. please help:/?
yesterday I had noticed cleaning the yard that she's been having diarrhea. And just this morning I noticed that she hasn't really ran around a lot as usual. i thought that maybe i'd find a few things out from any of you thru experience or something, before going to the vet. im thinking of giving her things with electrolytes to help her out. but Im wondering if she's possibly dying? she's 10 1 2 years old, she's a big dog. I dont know if that explains anything at all. She had surgery about a month or two ago, because she had an infection. Had the surgery weakened her? she acted just fine, but its so sudden that she's acting like thisi dont really know what to think , but any insight is fine.Thanks
Dogs or cats? Advantages and disadvantages?
I'm moving when I'm 17 or 18, and I'm thinking about buying dogs or cats. I have a soon to be roommate named Maribeth, and she says we can have neither, it doesn't matter to her, since I always ask my roommate what kind of things they prefer and don't prefer. Well I've been leaning on getting cats, but now I want dogs I'm thinking about getting a Husky and a Corgi or just Corgis. I have Chihuahuas now and I don't like them that much. But I might have to keep my Chihuahua, Lilly, since I wanted her. For cats I wanted like a cow cat, white with black spots, and a Rag Doll. Calicos and Tabbys pop into my head too.From your opinion and perspective, what should I get for cats? And dogs? And what are the advantages and disadvantages for the breeds I listed? Thanks
