Why does my dog sound like he is coughing up rocks?
He is a 13 year old Cockerspaniel Poodle and about three weeks ago he started coughing every ten minutes. I took him to the vet twice already and even with the medicine, it hasn't got any better. When he coughs it sounds like he coughed up a bunch of rocks and is chewing them..or like he is chewing sand. There is a lump on his chest but the vet said not to worry about it.
Tick removed on dog.?
I found a partially engorged tick on my dog. Not sure if it was deer or dog tick, but I think it was dog tick. I tried to remove it with tweasers, but I think the head is still In him. I can't tell for sure though. How bad is this?
Our dog has itchy skin?

Yah I know it's a stupid question but I'm asking to see what other people have to say. I went into our garage to get my skis ready because I'm going skiing tomorow. My dog followed me into the garage and thought we were gonna go some where so he stood by the car door waiting for me to open it. I asked him where he wanted to go. Frosting and cupcake paper consumed by dog? Help!?
Ah Okay, I feel extremely bad and worried for my dog toy poodle I irresponsibly left behind a cupcake wrapper The paper holding the cupcake together, can't be bothered with looking for the proper name and a decent amount of frosting on a plate, apparently within my dog's reachI couldn't have been gone longer than twenty minutes but when I came back the wrapper It was a chocolate cupcake, maybe a few small crumbs left behind and the frosting miraculously disappeared I've read multiple times that chocolate can be fatal especially to smaller dogs, and as stated, she's a toy poodle. I'm very worried now, will she be alright? Is there any way to induce vomiting safely to remove the crud? She seems fine now, curled up and ready to sleep but I'm very afraid for her, I don't want her to be in pain for my mistake

I think he acts like a dog. I've heard he was modeled from a black panther but that's just looks not personality. He seemed to act more dog ish. he's loyal and protective like my dog. he was nuzzling Hiccup in the face like a dog does and helps Hiccup walk around kinda like a disability dog. He dived into the fire to save hiccup which proved his loyalty. he's always wanting to be around Hiccup like a dog, when cats tend to be more loners. And he growls like a dog and is playful like a puppy. Not to mention he drools. So I'm just asking to see what your opinion is and why you think it.
My dog is itching nonstop. He has fleas?
What's a quick fix I can use until tomorrow so he can get to sleep? Please help I don't have flea collars, baths, or advantage or anything. I have lemon juice. Would that help? I heard about salt for carpets. Could I use salt on him?I can't give him a bath for a few days. He just got neutered. I just got him from the SPCA.I can't shave him. He's a pomeranian. He'll look weird. And I don't see how that would help because it would still be thick hair.And yes, I did look that up, and that's where I got the salt idea. But everything I look at is for carpets. So I don't know if it's safe to use on him or not.I KNOW it's fleas because I can see them when I move his fur around and look for them.
My dog is panting, shivering and act lethargic?
She is a 7 year old jack russell, usually very happy, she was hiding from me this morning, but tonight I came home to her panting, shivering and lethargic. She has never been sick, not sure what is wrong.
How to make dog better with people?
I have a 2 and a half year old German Shepherd. He is actually very, very friendly, the only problem is that he's really hyper, and with such a big dog that can be intimidating. He also has a habit which we're in the process of breaking of mouthing. He'll put his mouth around someone's hand or arm, but he never actually puts on any pressure, so he isn't biting. Again, it scares people sometimes. I might use him for a fan trailer I'm doing with friends, but I want to make him more able to be around people first. Can anyone help me learn how to calm him down? He gets especially hyper around big groups of people...

I'm babysitting my friends dog for four days. She's a Yorkshire terrier or at least I believe. I just got her today and she's literally laying by the door waiting for her owner Is there anything you recommend for me to do to gain her trust in these four days? Is Canidae Dry Dog Food a good, healthy choice?
I went to this website dogfoodadvisor.com dog food reviews dry 5 star and they gave it 5 stars. I've read some articles on the internet that some good dog food that is high in protein is not always a good choice for non athletic dogs. Is this food high in protein? Will it be ok for my Chinese Shar Pei Pug mix? I'm trying to find inexpensive healthy dog foods and Canidae is one of them that I was considering. Are there any cheaper healthy dog foods that I should look at? Thank you.
