Puppy/dog food question?
I have a 7 month old Kelpie puppy who I rescued after her owners dumped her with a broken leg. First off I know Kelpie's are highly active dogs, and I try to walk her at least twice daily and not just short walks either, because of her broken leg she still limps so the vet says not to run her too much and I always make time to go out and play with her whenever I can. I am also taking her to obedience lessons at the moment and so far she is going well, but she is still hypo as ever. My trainer says I need to get her on a low protein diet because even being Kelpie she is over active. What food do you recommend that is low protein? Or something else to calm her down? I know most Puppy foods are high protein, but is there anything out there? At the moment she is on Purina one Puppy food which has 28 % protein. I did have her on Innova, which I know is one of the best foods out there but she was just the same on that as the purina and as a student at college I couldn't afford it I just need some suggestions please. Thanks guys
What's a good brand of dog food for a Siberian Husky?
I may be adopting a Siberian Husky soon from a Husky rescue. Yay But I had a few questions, such as, what would be the bewst brand of dog food? I am asking becuase right now I'm compiling a list of costs for the dog, so I know if I can afford it before purchasing it. It isn't going to be a sled dog or show dog, so the food doesn't need to pertain to that. And if you have any other advice about adopting a SIberian, let me know

Looking for the best shredded blend dog food.?
My dog is a picky eater but I have found that she likes to eat shredded dog food better b c of the softer pieces in it, she doesn't like JUST the dry unless I mix in wet. I just bought Orijen dog food today from my vet. I did some research on it, and most people love it, however, some posts have said that it now has citric acid in it i checked and it does is this bad for my dog? if so, what is a high quality dog food? My mom has been putting it in our dachshunds food... I don't think it's a good idea, because I heard that dogs are lactose intolerant, but she thinks it is, plus it makes my dog eat her food better.
